Almost done

Well, after 20 hours of discontinuous work, trade-media.com redesign is almost done.

This is actually the 3rd version of trade-media.com. Till today, we used static files coded and maintained with Dreamweaver.

Although this will sound so “old school” to some , busy designers and web shops know how difficult it is to take care of your own web site.

This time we were looking for a smarter way to manage content such as news and articles. And of course it should be done in one week-end…

So we gave a quick try to wordpress as a corporate blog/web site platform and lets face it: it was damn easy.

With the help of this great post from max.limpag.com, it took virtually no time to convert our fresh html template to the current web site.

Add some tweaking here and there, a couple of plugins for a better SEO () and here it is.

We still have some minor things to polish in the blog and projects section but overall it was a good experience.
